Schuett Development Inc. (SDI) was founded in 2007 by Jack Schuett, the inventor of our signature SDI plumbing gaskets. Today, SDI continues as a family-owned business, passed down through three generations — from Jack to Tim Schuett, and now to the current owner, Michael Schuett.
Based on decades of hands-on innovation, SDI specializes in developing and manufacturing four (patent pending) gasket designs engineered to connect waste pipes to sink P-traps quickly and securely. Our gaskets are designed for PVC, chrome, and copper piping, eliminating the need for glue or solder and significantly reducing installation time.
